Trinidad is a UNESCO World Heritage site, a friendly city, a vital port located in Central Cuba. This historical city has the most preserved colonial architecture on the entire island of Cuba. Trinidad represents another era where horse-drawn carriages abound along the Plaza Mayor. It has a population of under 75,000 inhabitants and the main crop is tobacco, not sugar as it once was. There are aquatic and land activities and when classes are finished for the day, you can enjoy kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, biking and of course, surfing. It is 1.5 hours from the San José International Airport.
